60 years of Rosehill
Building on 60 years at the heart of West Cumbria's cultural life, and the remarkable advances of recent years, we are poised to build on this success with even greater energy and momentum.
Here we highlight just some of the ideas and opportunities we would like to pursue in the next five years.
- Residencies for leading artists at Rosehill: inspiring children and young people, mentoring local artists and performing regularly in community settings
- Extending the reach of the Taking Part programme to foster children's imagination, creativity and self-expression
- Further development of our hugely effective apprenticeship and training programme
- New, digital cinema programme of hand-picked films and the finest national and international performance
- Development of the adjacent Barn to create a courtyard theatre for performance and participation
Come with us as we build a bright future. Lifting spirits. Changing lives. Together.
Since it reopened Rosehill has done some fantastic work, but it is clear that it has so much more potential to have a real impact on the local economy and health and well-being. I will support it to do that in any way that I can.
