Music: POSTPONED: Sarah-Louise Young - An Evening Without Kate Bush

Following advice from the Government for people to avoid public places including restaurants and theatres, Rosehill Theatre and The Green Room restaurant are closed until further notice and bookings have been suspended. We will reopen as soon as it is considered safe and sensible to do so. We are working to reschedule this performance and will update ticket holders when we know more.

Performance details

The chaotic cabaret cult An Evening Without Kate Bush - starring Sarah-Louise Young - is here!

Enter Strange Phenomena, howl with The Hounds Of Love and dance on the moors with Wuthering Heights. Kate's not there, but you are.

From the makers of Julie Madly Deeply. But completely different.

Performer Sarah-Louise Young (Cabaret Whore, The Showstoppers, La Soirée) has teamed up with theatremaker Russell Lucas (Warped at VAULT Festival) to explore the music and mythology of one of the most influential voices in British music.

From releasing Wuthering Heights at the age of 19 to selling out the Hammersmith Apollo nearly 40 years later, Kate Bush has always surprised and confounded her critics. Through it all her fans have stayed strong.

Sarah-Louise - who entertained the Rosehill audience in 2019 with both Je Regrette! and Julie Madly Deeply, and, prior to that, with Cabaret Chameleon and Cabaret Whore - invites you to celebrate Bush's songs with this unique and mind-blowing show.

Support from La Poule Plombée

La_Poule_-_John_Paul_BichardThe evening will start with a performance from La Poule Plombée - already known to Rosehill audiences from previous shows, most recently Je Regrette! The knife-wielding tortured French chanteuse is back by her own demand, supporting An Evening Without Kate Bush.

Featuring hilarious and heart-breaking original songs, stunning vocals and darkly comic tales, this 'masterclass in character comedy' (Broadway Baby ★ ★ ★ ★ ★) comes from the creative team behind Julie Madly Deeply, Cabaret Whore and Roulston & Young.

A smash hit at the Edinburgh Fringe, La Poule's show won both The Stage Award and an Argus Angel Award. She is a regular host at the Black Cat Cabaret in London and has appeared internationally in New York, Berlin and at the prestigious Adelaide Cabaret Festival.

Sarah-Louise has performed in the West End with Julie Madly Deeply, Fascinating Aida, La Soirée and Olivier Award-winning Showstopper! The Improvised Musical. She won Best Musical Variety Act in the London Cabaret Awards and was named one of Time Out's Top 10 Cabaret Acts of the year.

An Evening Without Kate Bush won QX Show Of The Year and transfers to the Soho Theatre for a three-week run in May 2020.
