Music: Herdus - Tunes and Tales

Cumbrian folk band Herdus return to Rosehill as part of our summer Barbecues and Bands series - this time with Tunes and Tales.

Herdus love playing traditional British and Irish folk tunes, original songs and pop covers in a folk style. Described by RnR magazine as "fiddle-driven, rock infused Brit-folk", their enjoyment of music is quite infectious. Singalongs and dancing are inescapable!

As you'd expect from a band named after a Cumbrian fell, Herdus have plenty of material about the local area, and their singer Steve Wharton is also the English Lake District World Heritage Site Storyteller.

Join us for Tunes and Tales, an afternoon of variety and virtuosity, when Herdus will blend stories, songs and folk music from the coast, fells and beyond, alongside a delicious barbecue from the team in The Green Room at Rosehill.

Get ready for saints, sinners and supernatural goings-on!

Ticket price includes music and barbecue food. Please advise us of any dietary requirements at the time of booking.

This event will take place in the relaxed surroundings of Messel's Bar and outside - weather permitting!
