Music: Supper and Song with Anna Cooper and Glen Cunningham

Anna Cooper and Glen Cunningham present a feast of musical and operatic favourites alongside a delicious three-course supper - all with the audience seated on the Rosehill stage.

Anna (mezzo-soprano) and Glen (tenor) will be joined for their wonderful performance by Ana Manastireanu on piano.

The programme will include many operatic and musical favourites, such as Make Believe from Jerome Kern's Show Boat, Brindisi from Verdi's La Traviata, Bring Him Home from Les Misérables by Claude-Michel Schönberg, Smanie implacabile from Mozart's Cosi fan tutte and Someday My Heart Will Awake from King's Rhapsody by Ivor Novello.

Anna, from Kirkby Lonsdale, is Rosehill's current 'rising star' in support of her studies with the prestigious Royal College of Music's International Opera School. She made her Rosehill debut with a concert in The Green Room last August, in which she enthralled and entranced diners, before taking to the stage in December as part of a quartet alongside pianist Anna Tilbrook for Around the Operatic World in 80 Minutes (or maybe a little longer!).

Glen, from the Scottish Highlands, is a fellow student of RCM's opera studio and was also part of the quartet that joined Anna on stage in December. He has won numerous awards, including the Joan Chissell Schumann Competition at RCM, the Hugh S Roberton Prize for Scottish Singing at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and the Wiseman Prize, awarded by the Sir James Caird Travelling Scholarships Trust.

Pianist Ana, from Romania, is a Kenneth and Violet Scott scholar of RCM, where she is studying for a Masters of Performance. She has been selected as a 2019 Leeds Lieder Young Artist, enjoyed numerous festival appearances and won top prizes in several international competitions, as well as being a soloist with the Transylvania Philharmonic Orchestra.

Alongside the trio's musical programme, The Green Room team will serve a three-course supper with the audience seated at tables on stage in Rosehill's Grade II listed auditorium.
