The Green Room

The Green Room: The Green Room to go

We're delighted to announce The Green Room to go click and collect service!

Our two-course menu is available to order online at thegreenroomtogo.co.uk between 12pm Monday and 3pm Wednesday for specified collection slots at the weekend.

Our chefs will prepare and package your choices for Friday or Saturday with instructions for you to heat at home, as necessary, and serve - or if you choose our Sunday lunch option, it should be ready to serve when you get home (depending on how far away you live, of course).

Please order and pay online at thegreenroomtogo.co.uk where you will also be prompted to choose a collection slot.

Orders close at 3pm on Wednesday and go live again the following Monday with an updated menu!

We hope you will share our excitement at this initiative. We have a dedicated new website for our click and collect service and we're learning as we go along so please bear with us. We will change our menus regularly and in time we may also expand the service. Keep checking thegreenroomtogo.co.uk for updates!

Extra information
All orders must be placed and paid for in advance at thegreenroomtogo.co.uk. We're sorry we are unable to accept on-the-day orders or payment.

When arriving to collect your food, please take note of the socially distanced queuing system at the main door and wait to be seen by a member of our team. We ask that you arrive as near as possible to your specified collection time and maintain a safe distance if you see a customer is still being served.

Menu for 7-8 August

Duck leg confit
with Cumbrian chorizo and butterbean cassoulet

Half lobster
to be served warm with lemon oil, parsley butter, new potatoes in saffron and fennel salad

Roast squash
with pine nuts, carrot, quinoa, fennel slaw with sherry vinegar raisins

Slow-cooked beef cheek
with red wine sauce, pomme purée, tarragon and lemon carrots

Lamb Wellington
with pea and mint stuffing, charred baby gem, fava beans, green beans and lamb jus

Desserts
Crème caramel and blackberry
Treacle tart and clotted cream
Vanilla poached pear with mascarpone

Sunday lunch 'to go' for 9 August

Roast chicken for two or four people
with bread sauce, red wine gravy, cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, carrots, parsnips, chipolata and stuffing

Nut roast for one
