Carer’s Creative Wellbeing with Juniper Wellbeing is a new group starting on the Friday 13th of September and running every other Friday from 12-2pm. It is for the unpaid carers of children and adults living with disabilities. Email hannah.kessler@rosehilltheatre.co.uk for more information, or to self-refer.
What to expect
A supportive space where you will spend time with a small group, have a chat and eat some lunch. There will also be the opportunity to take part in some seasonal creative activities and self-care practices.
During each session we will have an opportunity to chat and make plans for future sessions, based on how you would like your time to be spent.
About Juniper Wellbeing
Juniper Wellbeing aims to support communities through creative community facilitation. Giselle has over fifteen years’ experience working with families from all walks of life, in the Northeast, London and West Cumbria. Having worked with learning disabled people, autistic people, and family carers, she is aware of the importance of offering carers opportunities to have some ‘Me time’. Mindful creative activities can have a positive impact on people’s emotional health and wellbeing.
Working with the seasons and embracing ‘Hygge’ elements such as togetherness, comfort and connection plays a huge part in how our sessions are created.
