COPELAND COMMUNITY FUND CONFIRMS SUPPORT FOR ROSEHILL
The Copeland Community Fund Board met on 11 June and considered the revised project plan for the redevelopment of Rosehill and confirmed that it remained interested in being a significant funder of the project. The Copeland Community Fund has agreed £1million of funding towards phase one of the project which will see the physical restoration and redevelopment of the Rosehill auditorium and site.
John Rowlands, the newly appointed Chair of the Copeland Community Fund Board said “We see the benefits of the project being both the long term financial stability of an important artistic and cultural centre in Copeland as well as delivering increased involvement and engagement with the local community. As with all projects, the fund is conscious that it is one of a number of funders and wishes Rosehill every success in securing all the finance required to bring the project to life.”
