HARBOUR FEST RETURNS ON AUGUST 30th WITH A CELEBRATION OF COMMUNITY AND CREATIVITY
Prepare for a unique blend of fun, creativity, and community spirit as Harbour Fest, a one-of-a-kind event, returns to Whitehaven Harbour on Saturday 30th August! Presented by Rosehill in collaboration with the Whitehaven Harbour Commissioners, this year’s festival is brimming with live performances, music, arts and crafts, and more. The best part? It’s a free event, open to all, promising a day you won’t want to miss!
Jen Garrick, CEO of Rosehill, said: “After an incredible outing for the festival in 2024, we can’t wait to bring Harbour Fest back to Whitehaven this summer. This year we’re looking forward to bringing some truly world-class performers to the West Coast to delight visitors from far and wide. Our partnership with Whitehaven Harbour Commissioners, and so many other brilliant cultural organisations from across Cumbria, means that there really is something for everyone at Harbour Fest and we can’t wait to show everyone what we’ve been cooking up!

Deanne Shallcross, CEO of Whitehaven Harbour Commissioners, added: “We’re excited to be working with the Rosehill team once again to present what will now be the fourth annual Harbour Fest. This event always brings an incredible buzz to our historic harbour, along with thousands of supporters of all ages and a variety of new visitors. What started out as a dedicated festival for the harbour has developed over the years to now include parts of the wider town, and we’re looking forward to everyone coming together to showcase our Georgian gem and its wonderful community!”

Harbour Fest celebrates the local community and the unique Harbour of Whitehaven. With a wide range of free family arts and crafts activities, everyone, regardless of age, can participate and enjoy. Soak up the performances, music, food, and feel-good atmosphere. All are welcome to take part in the celebration on Saturday 30th August and experience the magic of Harbour Fest.
