Comedy: Andrew Lawrence: The Happy Accident

Star of BBC1’s Live at The Apollo, Michael McIntyre’s Roadshow, Dave’s One Night Stand and Sky Arts’ The Outcast Comic, as well as the hugely successful self-penned BBC Radio 4 series, There Is No Escape, Andrew Lawrence comes to Rosehill on Saturday 19 May.

Without question the most subversive voice in UK comedy right now presents an all new, riotously funny set of jokes, poking fun at Liberal pretentions, PC hysteria and his own awful parenting skills. The Happy Accident Tour is a gag-packed stand-up show about coming to terms with fatherhood. Playing to rave reviews round the country, Rosehill's historic and intimate auditorium is pleased to welcome Andrew's unique brand of ascerbic humour.

Tickets are £15, available from the box office on 01946 692422 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Also available online until noon on Thursday 17.

Beginning at 8pm on Saturday 19 March, it's great timing to pick up a dinner at Rosehill beforehand at The Green Room. The restaurant is generally very busy on performance nights and booking is recommended.

“With every passing minute of his set...you marvel at his chutzpah and worry that he has a death-wish” Telegraph ★★★★

“He is in a class of his own.” Edinburgh Evening News ★★★★★

“Brilliant practitioner of his craft, who knows just where to place words for effect, who makes his audience warm to him, and who raises many a laugh.” ScotsGayMag ★★★★
