Music: Gareth Moulton and Snake Davis

Enjoy beautiful songs, passionate vocals, sax, woodwind, guitar and high-quality musicianship when Gareth Moulton and Snake Davis perform at Rosehill on 26 July.

Gareth Moulton is a Welsh/Mancunian musician and singer-songwriter, particularly known as the lead guitarist with rock band Cutting Crew ([I Just] Died In Your Arms Tonight) and also singer and guitarist with Wang Chung (Dance Hall Days, Everybody Have Fun Tonight).

He is currently touring with Gary Lagden, providing the original music and songs for critically acclaimed play Fly Half, which has received five-star reviews on britishtheatre.com

Gareth also spends a lot of time being vocalist and guitarist with The Snake Davis Band and progging out with Paul Birchall in prog-rock group Combination Head. He has recorded and toured with many other headline acts, including Heather Small, Jim Diamond, Paul Young and Go West, spent time in the studio recording with the likes of Blakkat and Shaboom Records, and featured on releases by Mark Bell, DJ Sneak, Chaka Khan, Taka Boom, and Paper Recordings.

Snake Davis is known for his solos on tracks with Lisa Stansfield, M People, Take That's A Million Love Songs and Klingande. He has played and recorded with artists ranging from James Brown to Paul McCartney, The Eurythmics to Dionne Warwick.

Two of his students reached the BBC Young Musician of the Year finals in 2014 with Cumbria's own Jess Gillam then becoming runner-up and a phenomenal success in her own right.

Snake has inspired a whole generation of saxophonists with his individual style and sound, snaking around the most hauntingly beautiful songs.

Together, Snake and Gareth have the power to convey real emotion, something their audiences really feel - "A performance that makes your heart sing"; "Fabulous".
