Connect, play, and create together!
Welcome to Tent, a free and creative project for families in and around Whitehaven. With Tent, we bring creativity, play, and connection to local community centres. We offer regular welcoming spaces around the town where families can explore and grow together.
Children and parents will be encouraged to express themselves in new and bold ways through loose-parts play and process-driven art. Light meals and snacks are provided, and this offer is free. The tent is suitable for people of all ages and backgrounds.
Venues and timings
So far our confirmed venues are:
St Peter’s Community Hall – 27 Lakeland Ave, Whitehaven CA28 9QA
Wednesdays 15:00 –18:00 – term time only
Haig Pit - Haig Pit, Whitehaven, Cumbria, CA28 9AL
Sundays 11:00 - 13:00, 23rd February, 9th March, 23rd March only
