We have worked with AccessAble so you can find out about our facilities before you visit. AccessAble’s surveyors assessed our venue to create a Detailed Access Guide. Check out the Detailed Access Guide to Rosehill.
With thanks to Cumbria Tourism for supporting the development of our access guide.
Seating
Please note, our seating is fixed, with standard theatre-style flip-down seats. They have a height of 47cm and width of 46cm. The seats have armrests on both sides, which are also fixed.
If you require a different width of seat, please get in touch.
Access at a glance
Rosehill has ample free car and coach parking, including several accessible parking bays.
The accessible parking spaces are available immediately opposite the main theatre entrance.
All public areas, except the auditorium's Circle, have step-free access.
Both our box office and bar have lowered counters.
We have two dedicated wheelchair spaces in the Stalls. Please call or email to book these spaces.
Two accessible toilets including baby changing facilities are available on our first floor.
There are also accessible changing and shower facilities backstage for performers.
Assistance dogs are welcome throughout the building.
We are committed to making Rosehill as accessible as possible for our visitors. We know that access looks different for everyone and we're keen to discuss any adjustments you need.
