Position: Marketing & Development Manager
Line Manager: Executive Director & Joint CEO
Contract: Permanent, part-time 32hrs (4 days per week)
Salary: £30,000 (pro rata 0.8 FTE with a possibility to increase to full time)
Based at: Rosehill Arts Trust (Moresby, Whitehaven, Cumbria)
Purpose of the role
The Marketing & Development Manager will work closely with the Executive Director & Joint CEO to manage two key areas of work:
The consistent and compelling promotion of Rosehill’s offer to a range of new and existing audiences.
The ongoing development (research, design, implementation, assessment, and optimisation) of new revenue streams and other strategic organisational objectives.
Where will the role be based?
The role will primarily be based at Rosehill in Whitehaven, with the opportunity for some hybrid and flexible working. The nature of the role means that the successful applicant will be required to travel around Cumbria, and occasionally further afield, for networking, meetings, and to support our work with communities.
Rosehill takes an ethical, values-led approach to marketing and development. We believe that our drive to build sustainable financial resilience must always align with our vision to bring about positive and lasting cultural and social impact in West Cumbria, where everyone can access high-quality arts and cultural experiences.
We aim to promote well-being, enjoyment, and togetherness through socially responsive, community-minded, thought-provoking, and place-inspired cultural experiences and development opportunities.
This is a new and wide-reaching role for the organisation and carries a blend of strategic and tactical responsibilities. As the role offers an opportunity to impact the financial performance of the organisation positively, we hope that the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their own team as the organisation grows.
This is an opportunity to join the team at an exciting time in our organisational development following a period of transformative R&D and the recent appointment of the Executive Director & Joint CEO.
