We're excited to be working with talented photographer and teacher, Dave Wilson, to bring you this brand new studio lighting workshop.
In this workshop, you'll have exclusive use of the Rosehill stage and with the help of amazing models, you’ll learn how to use external lighting followed by viewing and editing the photos in order to get the best out of them.
Even if taking portrait photos isn’t something you do all the time this is an intriguing and fun way to learn about off-camera lighting with the help of live models.
We will break for lunch, so please bring a packed lunch.

Firstly and very importantly, everyone gets their fair share of help. So don’t worry if you feel you need some extra time, you’ll get it. Dave will share tips on how to improve your technique, learn some of the theory involved in the photos you are taking, what to look out for, and loads of other great stuff which will help you improve your skills.
You’re welcome to bring a laptop computer, if you use one, to follow along during the classroom session.
For the Studio Lighting Workshop, you may be able to use your own camera or alternatively, for best and fastest results, you can use the tutor’s equipment. Lighting is also provided.
