Theatre: Rasta Liv

Rasta Liv is a biographical look at the life of a man committed to the future well-being of his family, his community and the country he called home, Africa.

The story follows Ellis Hercules' journey from 1957 St Kitts to Ethopia, via Leeds and Manchester in the 1960s, 70s and 80s.

Interviews with friends and family and a rich archive of letters, photographs and other ephemera are uncovered through physical performance, video projection and a live performance of a newly composed soundtrack.

Presented by Hercules Productions and supported by Arts Council England.
