Boosting access to creativity

Rosehill is delighted to have been included in a project to help more children and young people have access to creativity. Frame (West Cumbria Cultural Education Partnership) secured funding from Curious Minds to produce Let's Create art packs and are working in partnership with West Cumbria Young Carers to distribute these to young carers and their siblings during the summer holidays.

The packs feature various creative activities from groups and organisations around West Cumbria. Rosehill's section is for all ages and focuses on the Creative Connections programme of workshops, exhibitions and talks with schools and local communities, inspired by the collaboration between stage and film designer Oliver Messel and silk merchant Sir Nicholas Sekers who established the theatre in 1959.

See more details about the packs here.

Superb venue, clean, and the theatre is beautiful. Saw a film for the first time last night, sound and picture were awesome. Highly recommended.
